Shameka Fridenstine

I am Shameka Fridenstine, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in the field for over 10 years, working with a diverse range of populations. I have experience working within the school system, family court, the juvenile justice system,  CPS, non-traditional caregivers raising children, and guardians who have adopted children and/or foster them. I understand the impact of community violence on individuals and have experience processing through this additional trauma. The world is changing, and I am here to support you along the way.

I am trained in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), AF-CBT (Alternative Family-Cognitive Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Racial Trauma Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
